HOUSTON - Two suspects led police on a high-speed chase through northwest Houston Thursday morning.

It started around 2 a.m., when a Houston police officer saw a car run a red light at Hollister and Pinemont. The officer attempted to pull the driver over, but he took off.

Police said the suspects ran into a dead end on Bond, jumped out of the car, and ran on foot through a wooded area.

The officers called in a K-9 unit and a helicopter to help search for the men.

According to reports, the suspects' vehicle was not stolen, but officers said they found two weapons in the car -- a gun and an assault rifle.

So far, no arrests have been made.
