HOUSTON -

Two people were injured in a major car crash in southeast Houston.

Around 1:30 a.m. Sunday, police said a driver headed north on the East Loop lost control of his car near Broadway, hit a concrete wall, and rolled the car several times.

According to reports, the driver and his passenger were both taken to the hospital in stable condition.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.

The names of the driver and passenger were not immediately released.
