HOUSTON -

Houston police said three men broke into Monarch Landscaping LP at 1850 Hollister Street in northwest Houston overnight, but not all of them got away.

Investigators said a neighbor heard commotion coming from the business around midnight and called 911.

"Officers arrived and, as they arrived, three suspects jumped over the fence and ran away. Patrol officers set up a perimeter, and with the assistance of K-9 and air support, we were able to locate two of the three suspects," HPD's Larry Crowson, said.

Officers found the two crooks in a neighborhood just a few blocks away but a third suspect managed to escape.

The trio "apparently broke into a storage container in the back and they tried to steal a skid loader tractor," said Crowson.

Police said the two suspects in custody would face several charges, including burglary.
