HOUSTON – Two people were arrested in connection with a fire at a west Houston apartment last week.
The Houston Fire Department said Xavier McKnight, 19, and a 16-year-old were in custody for starting a fire at 14814 Perthshire Road at the Sheffield Square apartments on Feb. 13 at 3 p.m.
Both were charged with felony arson.
Arson investigators are working to determine if the suspects are connected to other fires in the area.
