HOUSTON -- Tips to Crime Stoppers led to the arrests of two wanted men, KPRC Local 2 reported.
Anthony Hill was wanted in a robbery and shooting of a clerk at a cellular phone store in the 6000 block of Antoine Drive on June 10.
Crime Stoppers officials said they received a tip that Hill may have been in Calvert, Texas. On June 26, Calvert police arrested Hill at the location the tipster gave.
Onesimus Thomas was featured in Crime Stoppers' "School's Out - Keep Our Kids Safe" campaign on June 30.
Crime Stoppers received a tip on July 1 that Thomas was in Austin. The Travis County Sheriff's Office arrested him on July 2.
Thomas was accused of sexual assault of a child and indecency with a child.
Crime Stoppers pays up to $5,000 for information leading to the identification, charging and arrest of felony suspects. Anyone with information regarding persons wanted in felony cases is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
