A man suspected in a string of aggravated robberies was arrested after he returned to one of the scenes, deputy constables told KPRC Local 2.

Harris County Precinct 4 deputy constables followed up Tuesday on a robbery that happened at the Taco El Taconzo restaurant in the 21900 block of Meadowhill Drive at about 8 p.m. Monday.

Detectives said as they were investigating, 18-year-old Jeff Arthur Smith rode his bicycle by the restaurant. An employee pointed him out and deputies arrested him after a foot chase.

"He was in possession of the weapon he had used and had the cash still on him," Constable Ron Hickman said.

Investigators said Smith may be involved in robberies at the Subway in the 3700 block of F.M. 2920 and the Game Crazy in the 18500 block of Kuykendahl Road.
