Police Shooting Leaves One Dead

HOUSTON -- A police shooting in southwest Houston leaves one person dead.

Right now, it's not clear who was killed, but it is believed that a police officer and a suspect were shot.

The officer was transported to Ben Taub Hospital in the Texas Medical Center.

The shooting happened around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday at 6700 Bellaire Blvd., near the intersection with Hillcroft Avenue. It happened in the parking lot of a Walgreens drugstore.
