UPDATED: 8:47 am CDT June 22, 2009

A woman has been accused of fatally shooting her husband at their northwest Harris County home, KPRC Local 2 reported.

Harris County sheriff's deputies said the shooting happened as the couple argued inside their home on Greenwood Point near F.M. 529 at about 3 a.m. Monday.

The husband was shot at least once and taken by helicopter to Memorial Hermann Hospital, where he died.

The couple's 3-month-old granddaughter was inside the home at the time of the shooting. A neighbor took care of her while deputies conducted an investigation.

The names of the husband and wife have not been released.
