HOUSTON -- One man was killed and another was being questioned after a shooting at a livestock storage business, KPRC Local 2 reported.
Houston police said the owner of the business on Van Zandt Street near Homestead Road shot a customer at about 9:20 p.m. Thursday.
Investigators said the owner and customer got into an argument. The customer was apparently told to take his animals and leave the property.
The customer wanted half of his money back because he had paid for the month in advance, detectives said.
Police said the owner shot the customer several times.
The customer died at the scene. His name was not released.
Police are investigating whether the owner had cause to shoot.
