Boy Drowns In Apartment Complex Pool

2-Year-Old Found Facedown In Pool

ROSENBERG, Texas -- A toddler drowned at a Rosenberg apartment complex on Thursday, KPRC Local 2 reported.

Rosenberg police said the 2-year-old was found facedown in a pool at the Reading Park Apartments on Reading Road near Town Center Boulevard at about 5:30 p.m.

Witnesses said they saw the boy near the pool earlier, but no one saw him fall into the pool.

The boy was taken to Oakbend Medical Center, where he died.

Police are investigating the death.
