Man Shot In Motel Parking Lot

Shooting Happened At Extended Stay In Stafford

A man was shot in the parking lot of a Stafford motel early Thursday, KPRC Local 2 reported.

Stafford police said they got a report about a disturbance at the Extended Stay motel on Lebon Street near Sugar Grove Boulevard at about 12 a.m.

Investigators said a man was shot at least once in the upper body. He was taken by helicopter to Memorial Hermann Hospital. His condition was not released.

Police have not released any information about the shooter. Detectives are taking statements for witnesses.
