A woman has been charged in a collision that killed a motorcyclist, KPRC Local 2 reported.

Houston police said Ireri Perez tried to back a Ford Explorer down an entrance ramp in the 13100 block of the Gulf Freeway at about 8:30 p.m. Saturday.

Investigators said Kenneth Flolo, 47, was riding a motorcycle when he tried to get onto the freeway. He ended up hitting the Explorer, officials said.

Flolo died at the scene.

Perez has been charged with criminally negligent homicide. Police have not said why she was backing down the ramp.
