A man is wanted in connection with a gas station robbery in northwest Houston, KPRC Local 2 reported.

Houston police said the man fired a shot as he entered the front door of the Valero gas station in the 9300 block of Long Point Drive on May 7.

The robber pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded the cash from the register, police said.

Investigators said the robber fired another shot when he decided the clerk was not following his demands quickly enough.

The robber was described as Hispanic, 22 to 25 years old, about 5 feet 6 inches tall, 130 to 140 pounds. He was last seen wearing a knit cap on his head and pulled down to his eyes.

Anyone with information is asked to call the HPD Westside Robbery Division at 2281-584-4750 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
