HOUSTON -- The following schools have closed because of confirmed or suspected cases of swine flu:Conroe Independent School District

- Glen Loch Elementary: closed until May 6
- Horne Elementary: closed until May 6 Yeager Elementary: closed until May 6
- Hamilton Middle School: closed until May 4 Harvard Elementary: closed until May 5 Lyons Elementary: closed until May 6 Stevenson Middle School: closed until May 6 Wilson Montessori: closed until May 6
- Maplebrook Elementary: closed until May 6
- Beckendorff Junior High School: closed until May 7
- Kuehnle Elementary School: closed until May 6
- Bowie Elementary School: closed until May 6 Lamar Junior High School: closed until May 6
- San Jacinto Elementary School: closed until May 6 Liberty Elementary School: closed until May 6 Liberty Middle School: closed until May 6 Liberty High School: closed until May 6
- All campuses closed to students until May 11. Teachers may voluntarily use May 8 for planning and preparation in their classrooms.
- Matthys Elementary School: closed until May 7 for students; May 6 for staff
- Atascocita United Methodist Church Weekday Learning Center in Humble: closed until May 7. Episcopal High School in Bellaire: closed until May 6 for students; May 5 for faculty, staff Greatwood Montessori School in Sugar Land: closed until May 11 Saint Anne Catholic School in Houston: closed until May 6
