Saturday's BP MS 150 Ride Canceled

HOUSTON -- Weather conditions have forced the cancelation of the first day of the BP MS 150, KPRC Local 2 reported.

Thousands of riders were supposed to leave from Tully Stadium at 7 a.m. Saturday, but organizers said conditions were unsafe.

The ride will go on as scheduled on Sunday. It will start in La Grange, where riders were supposed to stop on Saturday night.

Organizers said they are assessing the logistics and route conditions from La Grange to Austin.

Updates on the ride will be posted on the BP MS 150 Web site.
