PASADENA, Texas -- A composite sketch of a robber who pistol-whipped an 84-year-old man and his 63-year-old wife in their Pasadena home was released on Friday, KPRC Local 2 reported.
Maria Soffar said an armed man put a pistol to her head and hit her when she took out the garbage at their home on Burke Road and Ecuador Drive on Tuesday.
The gunman then forced his way inside the home, where he beat and threatened to kill her and her husband, Saul Soffar, who suffers from Parkinson's disease.
The robber ransacked the house and escaped with cash and jewelry.
Anyone with information is asked to call Pasadena police at 713-477-1221 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS. A $5,000 reward is being offered in the case.
