HOUSTON -- Police need help to identify four men believed to be responsible for at least two pawn shop robberies, KPRC Local 2 reported Thursday.
Houston police said the men robbed the EZ Pawn in the 7500 block of Airline Drive on Feb. 14. They were armed with pistols and a Taser gun and stole an undisclosed amount of cash and jewelry.
The same men were armed with pistols when they robbed the InstaCash Pawn Shop in the 9300 block of Long Point Road on March 16, detectives said. The men took cash and jewelry, investigators said.
Police said that in both cases the men used plastic zip ties to restrain people inside the stores and posed as customers before the robberies.
The men are Hispanic and primarily spoke Spanish, investigators said. The men got away from the March 16 robbery in a dark blue, four-door Honda Accord.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Houston Police Department Robbery Division at 713-308-0700 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
