PEARLAND, Texas – The Pearland Police Department is investigating after a shooting at a 12124 S. Clearlake Loop basketball court.
Around 2:30 p.m., police investigated witness reports of hearing what sounded like a gunshot and saw a silver vehicle speeding from the area.

Witnesses said a 19-year-old man was shot, and they called the police.
Witnesses on scene applied pressure to the victim's injuries until medics arrived.
The assailants had been described as two men wearing ski masks. They were seen leaving the area in a silver or gray passenger car (possibly a Toyota). No other information was available.
The men should be considered armed and dangerous, according to police.
The investigation is ongoing and additional information will be released as it becomes available.
