HOUSTON -- Two men are wanted in connection with the robbery of a southeast Houston 99-cent store, KPRC Local 2 reported Monday.
Houston police said the Nothing Over 99 Cents store in the 5200 block of Griggs Road was robbed shortly before 9 p.m. on Feb. 8.
The men were described as black, 22 to 25 years old, 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall and 160 to 180 pounds. One of the men was last seen wearing a light-colored hooded sweatshirt, a blue-and-white plaid jacket and dark pants. The second man was last seen wearing a dark-colored jacket and black shin-length shorts with a whtle stripe down the leg.
Investigators said they believe the men were in the store at about 5 p.m. that same day. Surveillance video showed two men in the store wearing distinctive shoes that matched the shoes the robbers wore, police said.
The men may be involved in other robberies in the area, officials said.
