TSU Receives $1 Million Pledge

HOUSTON -- Texas Southern University received a big financial boost on Tuesday, KPRC Local 2, Your Education Station, reported.Citing tremendous confidence in TSU's new leadership, Houston energy executive Dr. Kase Lawal pledged $1 million to his alma mater.At a check-signing ceremony, Lawal said TSU's new president, Dr. John Rudley, has the credentials and credibility to lead TSU in the right direction.The money is earmarked for scholarships.To donate to TSU, visit www.tsu.edu/research.
