Moody Gardens has welcomed a pair of feathered friends, KPRC Local 2 reported Tuesday.

Two gentoo penguins recently hatched. One arrived on Dec. 12 and the other came on Friday.

"Everyone loves the warm and fuzzy," said Diane Olsen, assistant director at the Aquarium Pyramid.

It takes gentoo penguins two to three months to become full-grown adults.
