UPDATED: 5:32 pm CST November 29, 2008

A car crash victim who was pronounced dead at the scene was later revived at a hospital, authorities told KMGH-TV on Saturday.

The 39-year-old man was ejected after rolling his vehicle near midnight Friday, said the Colorado State Patrol.

The patrol said he was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the car.

The man from Highlands Ranch was pronounced dead at the scene but was revived at a hospital. He is now listed in critical condition, the patrol said.

Authorities said they believe speed and weather were factors in the crash.
