Body Found On Freeway Shoulder

HOUSTON -- A man's body was found on the shoulder of a freeway, police told KPRC Local 2 Monday.Houston police said a motorist spotted the body behind a guardrail in the 2700 block of the South Freeway near the South Loop at about 5:30 p.m. Friday.Investigators said the man did not appear to have been hit by any vehicles.The Harris County Medical Examiner's Office will determine the man's identity and the cause of his death.Anyone with information is asked to call the Houston Police Department Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
