Bound Body Found Dumped Beside Road

PATTISON, Texas -- A bound body was found dumped along a Waller County road on Sunday, KPRC Local 2 reported.Waller County Sheriff Randy Smith said a bicyclist found the body along F.M. 1458 near Clemons Switch Road at about 2 p.m.The body was wrapped in a blanket and tied up with bungee cords and duct tape, investigators said.Detectives kept the body wrapped so they did not lose any evidence."It's hard to determine the size of somebody when they're wrapped in a comforter because a comforter is a pretty thick-type instrument anyway," Smith said.The Harris County Medical Examiner's Office will determine the identity of the victim and the cause of their death.Anyone with information is asked to call the Waller County Sheriff's Office at 979-826-8282.
