A student said she was raped on the grounds of Spring High School while classes were going on, KPRC Local 2 reported Thursday.

According to Spring Independent School District police, it happened at around 9 a.m. on Oct. 31.

Student Jimmie Masters, 17, was arrested Tuesday and charged with sexual assault.

"I wouldn't believe he would do nothing like that," said Roshuade Flowers, Masters' relative.

Flowers said the story doesn't add up.

He said Masters has plenty of friends, even though it's his first year at Spring, and would not force a girl to do anything.

"He's a good person; loves God and reads the Bible," said Flowers.

Harris County prosecutor Kimberly Miller said the girl went straight to the nurse's office to report the alleged attack.

"They had agreed originally to consensual oral sex," said Miller. "She then changed her mind and told Jimmie she was getting sick and wanted to stop. Jimmie grabbed (her) by the hair. In lieu of stopping, he actually does more and sexually assaults her."

The complaint said Masters "compelled the complainant to participate by the use of physical force and violence" and that "she was afraid of (him.)" The complaint also said police recovered physical evidence and the girl had injuries consistent with forced sexual assault.

Parents and students said the wonder why they hadn't heard anything about it from the school, nearly a week after the alleged crime.

"They should have told us so we can have a warning," freshman Rachel Martel said.

Spring ISD declines to comment on camera. Officials said they had a meeting about what happened and that Masters has not been back to campus since the incident. They had no plans of notifying families with a letter.
