Shots Fired In Credit Union Robbery

POSTED: Wednesday, November 5, 2008

Two men fired shots as they robbed a northwest Harris County credit union on Wednesday, KPRC Local 2 reported.

Harris County Precinct 4 deputy constables said the men held up the Investex Credit Union in the 200 block of Cypresswood Drive at about 9 a.m.

Investigators said the men, who were armed with shotgun-type weapons and wore all black clothing and ski masks, managed to get the security guard's gun away from him.

The men got away with an undisclosed amount of cash, detectives said.

No injuries were reported.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
