Police Need Help Finding Drug Store Robber

POSTED: Wednesday, November 5, 2008

Houston police need help finding the man that robbed a pair of drug stores, KPRC Local 2 reported Wednesday.

Investigators said the man robbed the Walgreens in the 1500 block Eldridge Parkway on Oct. 18 and the Walgreens in the 1800 block of South Kirkwood Road on Oct. 27.

In both robberies, the man went into the store and asked to purchase Kool cigarettes at the front register. The man then kept his hand in his pocket, as if he was armed with a gun, and demanded the clerk give him money from the register, police said.

Detectives said the man threatened to shoot the clerk if his demands were not met.

Police said the man is white, in his early 20s and about 6 feet tall with a slim build. He may have several tattoos on the lower parts of his legs. He wore a dark-colored hooded jacket with the words "Live It, Love It or Leave It" written in large white or yellow letters on the back.

Anyone with information is asked to call Houston police at 281-584-7455 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
