The bodies of a mother and her two daughters were found in a southwest Houston condominium Friday evening and the mother's fiancé is considered a "person of interest" in the case, KPRC Local 2 reported.

Police said the bodies of the woman and her two girls, ages 15 and 7, were found in a unit at the Terrace Condominiums, 10555 Turtlewood Court, shortly after 5 p.m.

All three had their hands bound with wire. There were no signs of a forced entry and nothing was missing.

"She didn't show up for work. The kids didn't go to school," said friend Becky Anthony, who found them. "We were all worried. We knew something wasn't right."

Anthony was horrified at what she discovered when she broke a window to get inside the condo.

"There was a lot of blood around her," she said. "(Someone) wrapped the baby up in a blanket, and the other baby was in the bathroom with her face down and her hands behind her back. I can't believe it."

Family members told KPRC Local 2 that the mother was supposed to get married in December.

Her fiancé, who was living in the condo, was nowhere to be found. Police are calling him a person of interest.

"Just devastated, devastated," said relative Donald Farley. "He and I spent some time together. He was an ordained minister."

Farley said that in the crowd of people gathered at the condo, his absence was strange.

"We need to see you now. Come on bro," said Farley.

Friends of the two girls said they could not believe they had to say goodbye.

"You just hurt, you can't think nothing," said Jessica Sparkman. "You just think why. Why did this happen?"

Police said they went to the condo Friday morning for a welfare check, but found no signs of foul play. They knocked on the door and when no one answered, they left.

An autopsy will determine the exact cause of death. The victims' names were not released.
