2 Hurt In Northwest Harris County Explosion

Two people were injured in an explosion at a northwest Harris County business on Wednesday, KPRC Local 2 reported.

Cypress-Fairbanks Emergency Medical Services officials said they got the call about an explosion at QuietFlex in the 4500 block of Brittmore Road shortly after 10 a.m.

One of the injured was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital. The type and extent of the injuries he suffered was not released. No information was released about the other person who was injured.

Officials have not said what kind of explosion occurred or where it occurred at the business.

The cause of the explosion is under investigation.
