Police Need Help Identifying Skeletal Remains

Houston police need help identifying woman whose skeletal remains were found inside an abandoned home, KPRC Local 2 reported Tuesday.

Investigators said the remains were found in a house along the East Freeway service road near Waco Street on July 27.

Officials said the woman suffered head wounds.

The woman was black, 30 to 50 years old and 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 6 inches tall with short black hair. She was wearing a NY Collection Woman brand long-sleeved black blouse with a green floral pattern and a Mighty Hugs brand sports bra.

Anyone with information about the woman's identity or death is asked to call the Houston Police Department Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
