7 Children Hospitalized In Day Care Bus Wreck

HOUSTON -- Seven children were taken to a hospital Friday after their day care bus overturned in a wreck, KPRC Local 2 reported.Harris County sheriff's deputies said a truck driver caused the wreck when he ran a red light on F.M. 2920 near Bridgestone Lane on Friday afternoon.The day care van belonged to the Children's Courtyard in Spring.Ten children were on board the bus. Seven were taken to a hospital as a precaution, but their injuries did not appear to be serious, investigators said.
