Montgomery County sheriff's deputies said the boy's father was trying to remove a dead tree in their front yard. When the tree fell, the boy did not get out of its way, officials said.The boy's older brother tried to pull him away, but the tree hit him in the head.The boy was taken to Tomball Regional Hospital, where he died.Detectives said the boy's death appeared to be an accident and no charges were expected.
