Baby Sitter Sentenced For Molesting Children

HOUSTON -- A Galveston County man who was trying to open a day care and who baby-sat for children in his neighborhood was sentenced to prison, KPRC Local 2 reported Wednesday.

David Ronald Roland, 44, of Bacliff, was found guilty of sexual assault and sentenced to 30 years in prison.

Local 2 Investigators first reported in 2006 that at least four children told police that they were molested or raped while at Roland's home.

Roland will not be eligible for parole for 15 years.

He will be a registered sex offender for life.
