1 Arrested, 1 Wanted In Check-Cashing Store Robbery

HOUSTON -- One man has been arrested and another is wanted in connection with a robbery at a southwest Houston check-cashing store, KPRC Local 2 reported Tuesday.Houston police said 28-year-old Joe Foster and 20-year-old Fredrick Douglas robbed the ACE Check Cashing store in the 9500 block of South Main Street on June 7.Foster and Douglas have been charged with robbery.A Crime Stoppers tip led to Foster's arrest in the 5200 block of Lyndhurst Drive on Monday.Detectives are still looking for Douglas. He is black, 5 feet 11 inches tall, 175 pounds with brown eyes and shoulder-length braids.Douglas also has active warrants for his arrest on charges of aggravated robbery and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
