1 Arrested, 1 Wanted In Check-Cashing Store Robbery

One man has been arrested and another is wanted in connection with a robbery at a southwest Houston check-cashing store, KPRC Local 2 reported Tuesday.

Houston police said 28-year-old Joe Foster and 20-year-old Fredrick Douglas robbed the ACE Check Cashing store in the 9500 block of South Main Street on June 7.

Foster and Douglas have been charged with robbery.

A Crime Stoppers tip led to Foster's arrest in the 5200 block of Lyndhurst Drive on Monday.

Detectives are still looking for Douglas. He is black, 5 feet 11 inches tall, 175 pounds with brown eyes and shoulder-length braids.

Douglas also has active warrants for his arrest on charges of aggravated robbery and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
