Man Followed Home, Beaten, Robbed

HOUSTON -- A man was followed to his southwest Houston apartment, beaten and robbed on Friday, police told KPRC Local 2.Houston police said the man returned to his apartment on Braeburn Glen Boulevard near Bissonnet Street at about 10:15 a.m. after he went to pick up money from a wire service.Investigators said several people forced their way into the man's apartment, bound him, put a sack over his head and beat him.The attackers got away with the cash, detectives said.The man was able to free himself and call for help.Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
