Highway Reopens After Sticky Spill Cleaned Up

SUGAR LAND, Texas -- A sticky spill in Sugar Land has been cleaned up and a major road has reopened, KPRC Local 2 reported.An 18-wheeler overturned and spilled molasses on state Highway 6 near the Southwest Freeway at about 4 p.m. Thursday.Police said the big rig tipped over while trying to make a turn.
Crews worked for hours and got the mess off the road at around midnight.The driver was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
