HOUSTON -- A reward was offered on Wednesday to find vandals who have hit a northwest Houston church three times, KPRC Local 2 reported.
Three Virgin Mary statues at All Saints Catholic Church, 215 E. 10th Street in the Heights, were either damaged or destroyed during the past few months, officials said.
The first crime happened on Palm Sunday and the last occurred on the July Fourth weekend.
The phrases, "Don't worship idols" and "You have been warned" were also spray-painted.
The church is celebrating its 100th anniversary.
Crime Stoppers offered a $5,000 reward for information in the case.
Anyone with information is asked to call 713-222-TIPS.
