HOUSTON -- A 21-year-old man was charged in connection with a crackdown on child pornography, KPRC Local 2 reported Friday.
Benjamin Sellers was charged with two counts of possession of child pornography.
Harris County Precinct 4 deputy constables seized computers, CDs, floppy discs, USB drives and MP3 Players from his home in Humble. Deputies said they were filled with hundreds of child pornography pictures.
"At one point, we found 880 images at once during one quick search," said Sgt. Gary Spurger from Precinct 4.
Spurger knocked on Sellers' door early Friday morning to search his home.
"Each image is an offense in of itself. Each is a crime scene," said Spurger.
Investigators said the FBI got a tip that Seller was downloading and sharing child pornography on his home computer.
They said they found pictures and videos of children from 2 to 7 years old.
Investigators said they want to send a loud message that child pornography is taken very seriously in Texas, "That's someone's child who got raped and photographed. That could have been your child," said an unidentified investigator.
