Man Dies While Riding Stolen Motorcycle

HOUSTON -- A motorcyclist was killed in a collision near Crosby, KPRC Local 2 reported.Harris County sheriff's deputies said Philip Martinez tried to pass a vehicle on Bohemian Hall Road near Old Road on Sunday.Investigators said Martinez hit the back of the vehicle and was thrown off the motorcycle.
Martinez, who was not wearing a helmet, died at the scene.Detectives said the 2001 Honda motorcycle Martinez was riding has been reported stolen.
