Suspect In Serial Rapes Charged In 2 Cases

HOUSTON -- Houston police said they believe they have caught a serial rapist who terrorized apartment complexes on the southwest side for months, KPRC Local 2 reported Friday.

Marcus Duffy-Thompson was charged with one count of sexual assault and one count of burglary of a habitation with intent to commit sexual assault.

Four women reported being raped in apartments near Dairy Ashford Boulevard from September through February.

The attacks happened at the following locations.

9301 Dairy View Lane at 1:20 a.m. on Sept. 27
9406 Dairy Ashford at 4 a.m. on Dec. 26
9301 Dairy View Lane at 6:50 a.m. on Jan. 20
9301 Dairy View Lane at 2:10 a.m. on Feb. 19

They all described a similar attacker.

The suspect is being held on a $200,000 bond.
