Suspect In Serial Rapes Charged In 2 Cases

Houston police said they believe they have caught a serial rapist who terrorized apartment complexes on the southwest side for months, KPRC Local 2 reported Friday.

Marcus Duffy-Thompson was charged with one count of sexual assault and one count of burglary of a habitation with intent to commit sexual assault.

Four women reported being raped in apartments near Dairy Ashford Boulevard from September through February.

The attacks happened at the following locations.
  • 9301 Dairy View Lane at 1:20 a.m. on Sept. 27
  • 9406 Dairy Ashford at 4 a.m. on Dec. 26
  • 9301 Dairy View Lane at 6:50 a.m. on Jan. 20
  • 9301 Dairy View Lane at 2:10 a.m. on Feb. 19

They all described a similar attacker.

The suspect is being held on a $200,000 bond.
