Driver Fatally Hits Woman Lying On Road

BACLIFF, Texas -- A driver fatally hit a woman lying in the middle of a Bacliff road late Tuesday, KPRC Local 2 reported.Galveston County sheriff's deputies said a woman in her 40s was killed in the 4700 block of West Bayshore Drive at about 10:15 p.m.Investigators said the woman, whose name was not released, may have been intoxicated.The driver will not face charges because the victim was deemed to be at fault, detectives said.
