Sugar Land Mayor, Klein Bond On Ballots

HOUSTON -- Voters headed to the polls Saturday to elect new leaders in numerous municipal elections, KPRC Local 2 reported.The highest profile races include electing a new mayor in Sugar Land and deciding the fate of a multimillion-dollar bond proposal in Klein.Residents in Sugar Land will also elect a new city council member.
Jimmy Thompson, Daniel Wong and Russell Jones are up for mayor while Jacquie Chaumette faces S.B. Gaddi for At-Large Pos. 2.Voters in northwest Harris County will decide the fate of a proposed $647 million bond for the Klein Independent School District.The proposed bond would be distributed as follows.
