4 Drivers Carjacked At Gunpoint

Harris County sheriff's deputies said the group targeted lone drivers who were heading home from work.Investigators said the men first stole a green Honda at a home on Brushy Glen Drive near Imperial Valley Drive at about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday. The car was found on Wednesday and processed for evidence.As many as five men were involved in four carjackings throughout the night, officials said.Detectives said two people reported that four armed men carjacked them at the Willowbend Apartments in the 13900 block of Bammel North Houston Road at about 11:45 p.m. A beige Ford Expedition with Texas license plate No. 2ZJ L19 and a black Nissan Sentra with Texas license plate No. 987 DBC were taken.Another person was carjacked at the Trails at Dominion Grove Apartments on Dominion Park near Kuykendahl Road at about 12:30 p.m., detectives said. The victim said five masked men armed with rifles and handguns attacked her. A black Mazda Tribute with Texas license plate No. 194 HZP was stolen.The last carjacking happened at the Royal Coach Village mobile home park in the 700 block of West Greens Road at about 2:40 a.m.Griselda Gordillo said she was coming home from work when three armed men approached her. She said the men demanded cash and her blue Mercury Tracer."She's scared," said Isabel Alonso, Gordillo's daughter. "She thinks something else is going to happen next. She thinks they going to come back."Deputies said the carjackers did not physically hurt any of the drivers.Officials have not released descriptions of the carjackers.Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
