HOUSTON -- No charges will be filed in the case of a fetus found in a trash bin on an airplane, KPRC Local 2 reported Wednesday.
Houston police said a cleaning crew found the fetus in a lavatory after flight 433 from New York's LaGuardia Airport arrived at George Bush Intercontinental Airport at about 4:45 p.m. Sunday.
The Harris County Medical Examiner's Office determined Monday the fetus was stillborn.
Investigators said the 14-year-old mother was returning from New York with a chaperoned school group.
Police presented the case to the Harris County District Attorney's Office, which declined to charge the girl or the apparent 14-year-old expectant father.
