A man accused of murdering a Good Samaritan pleaded guilty on what was supposed to be the first day of his trial, KPRC Local 2 reported Wednesday.

Keith Hines will spend the rest of his life in prison and will not be eligible for parole.

He was charged with murder and several robberies.
