HOUSTON -- A teenager missing since Tuesday afternoon was found Thursday safe and alive, KPRC Local 2 reported.
Sarah Coronado was last seen at about 4 p.m. Tuesday at
Dobie High School, 10220 Blackhawk Blvd., in southeast Houston.
A school camera spotted Coronado getting into a white Dodge 1500 pickup truck with two men approximately 19 to 22 years old.
Officials said that Coronado's father, Raymond Coronado, told them that Sarah was found Thursday alive and safe in southeast Houston.
Raymond Coronado said that Sarah was found with friends at a library located at Ingrando Park.
Officials said that despite having not eaten for two days, Sarah Coronado was OK. They said that she told them that she knew the two men with whom she was seen leaving.
Police said they believe the teenager met someone online and had been talking, by phone, to someone in California.
Investigators said Coronado's cell phone died at about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.
"(It's) very out of character. Her first time ever to have any type of away from home or running away or an extended period away from the home. She's never done anything like that. She's had a little bit of trouble with some grades, but we've been working through those issues," said Raymond Coronado.
