Party Boat Slams Into Kemah Boardwalk

KEMAH, Texas -- A party boat slammed into the Kemah Boardwalk on Sunday, KPRC Local 2 reported.

United States Coast Guard officials said the 65-passenger boat crashed into the Boardwalk near Joe's Crab Shack at about 5 p.m.

Several people onboard suffered minor injuries but refused to be taken to a hospital. A passenger said about 60 people were onboard at the time of the crash.

A few boards were knocked loose, but there was no significant damage.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
