Party Boat Slams Into Kemah Boardwalk

KEMAH, Texas -- A party boat slammed into the Kemah Boardwalk on Sunday, KPRC Local 2 reported.United States Coast Guard officials said the 65-passenger boat crashed into the Boardwalk near Joe's Crab Shack at about 5 p.m.Several people onboard suffered minor injuries but refused to be taken to a hospital. A passenger said about 60 people were onboard at the time of the crash.A few boards were knocked loose, but there was no significant damage.The cause of the crash is under investigation.
