HUMBLE, Texas -- Humble High School's principal has died, KPRC Local 2 reported.

Larry Johnson, 50, suffered a stroke over the weekend and passed away Monday while surrounded by his family and friends.

Johnson was serving his first year as principal of the school.

Funeral arrangements were pending.
