Car Crashes Into Swimming Pool

DEER PARK, Texas -- A woman was rescued from a car after she crashed it into a swimming pool, KPRC Local 2 reported.

Deer Park police said the woman drove through a fence and landed in a pool in the back yard of a home in the 300 block of Ellen Drive on Wednesday afternoon.

A neighbor helped pull the driver out of her car. She was rushed to a nearby hospital as a precaution.

Investigators said the woman may have been under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

A tow truck pulled the car out of the pool.
